About FRIDAY

 

In order to promote Hong Kong fashion brands to the general public, Fashion Farm Foundation (FFF) launched the “FRIDAY” campaign in May 2015.

 

No matter for social purpose, self-assurance or an expression of one’s aesthetics, dressing up has become an indispensable element to our daily life.  If fashion is a necessity, why don’t we prioritize spaces in the closet for homegrown designs? While it seems a general impression that the city is a desert for culture and design, FFF is convinced that Hong Kong can glow with its with creativity.  Local designs deserve at least the same price tags as those on foreign brands. 

 

Let's get started every Friday from now on: No matter what your plans are, a hangout, a date, a movie night, or a coffee break with a good book, try to brighten up your life with fascinating designs from local fashion brands!

不論是為了應付社交需要、自我肯定、還是表現審美眼光，打扮穿著是每個都市人日常生活中不可缺少的一環。但當我們打開衣櫥，細數裏面每一件衣服的品牌時，您或許會發現這些設計，一般來自美國、法國、日本甚至是遠在北歐的瑞典 － 香港設計，往往被香港人忽略。為了推動公眾對香港時裝品牌的認識，Fashion Farm Foundation 在2015年5月籌辦了全新企劃「FRIDAY」，鼓勵大家 — 每逢周五，撐本地時裝！

 

當人人都說香港是文化沙漠、設計荒洲，Fashion Farm Foundation卻認為香港是充滿創意的時尚都市；購買外國品牌的價錢，同樣值得用於香港時裝品牌之上。讓我們由每個星期五開始：不論您跟三五知己見面、約會，還是到戲院看電影、在咖啡室閒坐閱讀，總少不免要好好打扮一番。就讓香港的時裝設計，點綴你的時尚生活。
